Happy Valentines Day - Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Inky Background

 Simon Says Stamp Monday 1-12-2015 challenge
After reading and viewing Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Inky Backgrounds, I thought I would go back to basics and use one of the first techniques I learned; blending using Distress Inks.

Materials:
White card stock
Red Card stock

Simon Says Stamp Hearts Parade Die
Perfect Pearls made into a spray: Grape Fizz and Confetti White
White embossing powder
Red Sequin
Ranger Glossy Accents
Tom Bow Mon Liquid Glue
Zip Dry Scrapbook glue
Mini blending tools
Mini Misters
The following Distress Inks:  Victorian Velvet, Dusty Concord, Mowed Lawn Peacock Feathers, Aged Mahogany, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose, Festive Berries, Barn Door,  and Fired Brick

  1. This card is absolutely stunning! That background is filled with such depth and delicious color! I love how it has a variety of misting and little splotches and splatters. I also really like how it looks against those white letters! That's a great font for such a happy sentiment and of course, you can't go wrong with a little bling!
